Tool Spending Priority Tier List

How this tier list works

dogs does not publish a stable coin price list that fans can cite line by line. Shop buttons change, and early coverage of AZOT’s game — place 94009908234110, out since 7 September 2026, with version notes around v0.5.1 — names roles more often than it names every price. This page ranks spending priority by what the purchase does for a round, not by a fake spreadsheet.

TierMeaning
SBuy before you care about anything else
ABuy once normal rounds are consistent
BStrong later, wasteful as a first purchase
CPoor badge or coin return for a new account

These are wiki rankings for public lobbies of up to 12 co-op players. They are not an official AZOT balance patch. If updates shows a shop rework, re-read the buttons and demote anything you cannot see in the client.

S — First self-defense

The best first spend is the cheapest tool that lets you damage or stall a dog long enough to finish a normal round. The exact label in the shop is whatever the client shows today. Do not wait for a famous gun name. A survivor who cannot clear a calm map does not need a heavier caliber. They need one reliable defense and the spacing on how to survive.

This letter is S because every survival badge — 1, 10, 25, 100, and the rare 1000 — assumes you can live a baseline round. Coin income is those clears, plus the AZOT group 1.2x bonus. A tool that creates the next clear pays for itself. A tool you cannot afford to whiff with does not.

Open the shop after two real rounds, not on your first death screen. Compare the costs that are actually printed. Pick the lowest price that still functions at the range you fight. Click-path notes live on tools and shop. Role habits live on the survivor page.

A — The tool that fixes your last death

After normals feel repeatable, spend on the gap that killed you in a buffed round. Death buffs the dogs and pays the Against the God’s Will badge if you live. KEEP IT CLEAN buffs dogs and adds a burning helper. If you died because the first tool could not answer that pressure, the next purchase is A-tier even when a flashier gun sits lower in the shop.

A-tier is personal. One player needs more range. Another needs something that still works while they reposition. Test one upgrade at a time so you know which button changed the round. Event context is on events, and the difficulty ranking is the events tier list. Map size changes the same choice. Wide votes and Dog Day’s extra dogs are covered on maps.

Do not skip S to save for A. An empty-handed Death round is not research. It is a lost survival, and it teaches you less than one cheap tool plus a calmer vote.

B — Late heavy guns

Public lobbies talk about late shop guns, especially a mine gun and an M249-style weapon, as damage you buy after you already survive. Treat those names as community targets, not as a promise that both are always stocked or always best in slot. If the shop shows them, they are B-tier as a first purchase and can feel closer to A-tier once normals are free. The damage potential is real in conversation. The timing is bad if you are still failing calm maps, or if the price locks you out of any defense at all.

This page does not print damage, fire rate, or coin cost for those guns. Those figures are not in a source we trust, and inventing them would make the list look official. Stand in the shop, read the number on the button, and ask one question: if I buy this and still die on a normal map, did I just freeze my badge ladder? If the answer is yes, it is still a B-tier spend for you, whatever a clip called it.

Juggernaut and Azure Dot do not move this letter. Fate is Robux, discussed on the juggernaut role and the juggernaut guide. It is not a coin gun. Do not farm a heavy weapon because you hope it secretly selects you as juggernaut. Nothing in public badge notes says that it does.

C — Spends that only look like progress

C-tier is anything that spends your early balance without raising your clear rate. A cosmetic or flex buy before you own defense belongs here. So does saving forever for a heavy gun while you queue empty-handed. Repeated Fate clicks before you can survive Death belong here too. Copying a loadout from a full-server clip, when your own deaths are still spacing mistakes, is the same mistake with extra steps. Controls and getting started fix those cheaper than the shop does.

Any tool script that claims to grant shop items is not a tier at all. It is a ban risk, covered on scripts. C does not mean a veteran can never touch the item. It means the item is the wrong turn for an account that still needs 10 Survivals.

A shopping session that matches the letters

Confirm you are in AZOT’s dogs on Roblox, place id 94009908234110, before you spend a single coin. Join the group for 1.2x coins if you want the bonus. Promo codes are not the plan; see codes. Clear two normal rounds. Buy S, the first real defense, using the price on screen. Clear again. If Death or KEEP IT CLEAN shows up and that tool folds, buy one A-tier answer to the death you just had. Only then look at a mine gun, an M249, or whatever late name the shop actually prints. Check badges to see which ladder just moved.

The tier list hub points here and at event rankings. The players hub is the role index. AZOT’s own announcements sit on the dogs Discord and the wiki links page. This page is only the decision about the next coin.

What would change the letters

A later patch could rename guns, fold the starter into a default kit, or publish real prices. If defense becomes free, S shifts to the first upgrade that still changes Death clears. If a heavy gun becomes cheap enough to be the starter, it can leave B. Until the client shows that change, the order stays the same: survive, then upgrade, then heavy damage. Badge value follows clears, and clears follow the tool you can fire on the map you actually voted.

That is the whole ranking. No invented price column. No invented DPS chart. Role value only, checked against the shop you can see tonight. If two buttons look similar, buy the one that answers the dog that killed you, then stop spending until the next clear proves it worked.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for surviving dog hordes in dogs.

Why does this tools tier list omit exact prices?

AZOT has not published a stable public price sheet for dogs. Coin costs belong on the in-game shop button. Ranking by role value avoids fake numbers that would go stale or mislead a purchase.

What should I buy first in the dogs shop?

S-tier is the cheapest tool that lets you finish a normal round. Do not save your first coins for a late heavy gun if you still die on calm maps.

Are the mine gun and M249 the best weapons?

Players talk about them as late damage buys. They are B-tier as a first purchase because they do not help an account that cannot survive yet. If the shop renames or removes them, trust the client.

Should Fate come before a defensive tool?

No. Fate is a Robux attempt at Juggernaut, not a coin weapon. Clear normals and own basic defense before you pay for Azure Dot attempts.

Are these tiers official AZOT rankings?

No. They are wiki priorities for public co-op lobbies of up to 12 players. Re-check the shop after updates, and demote any name you cannot find in game.
