Events in dogs
Death, Divine Instincts, KEEP IT CLEAN, Juggernaut, and the Hung Up phone.
Normal rounds are not these banners
Most of dogs is a voted map, a horde, coins, and tools. AZOT also runs special rounds and one lobby interact that players lump together as “events.” They do not share one win condition. Surviving Death is a badge. Surviving Divine Instincts is a different badge. Surviving KEEP IT CLEAN is a third. Juggernaut pays Azure Dot only if you win as the juggernaut. Hung Up is not a horde at all. It is a ringing phone in the lobby. This page separates them so you stop using one tactic for five different prompts.
Read getting started if the base loop is still fuzzy, and maps so you do not confuse a vote tile with an event banner. Combat habits for ordinary hordes stay on how to survive. Every badge name below is repeated with earn notes on badges.
Death
Death buffs the dogs. Community reports describe it as a round where the whole horde is stronger, not a new map with a story objective. The survival badge is Against the God’s Will. You earn it by living through that buffed round, not by dealing a quota of damage and not by being the juggernaut.
How to approach it:
- Assume your normal angle is less forgiving. Take the exit earlier.
- Use a tool you already understand. Death is a bad time to test a weapon you bought ten seconds ago and have never selected. Shop basics are tools and shop.
- Do not wake a second pack. Buffed dogs make extra aggro expensive. The aggro rules on the survival page still apply. They just punish harder.
- Call the banner the moment you can read it. Teammates who think it is a normal round will stand in the doorway too long.
- Do not stack Dog Day on top of the idea of “more dogs” if the room is already inside a buffed event and the vote is still open. Extra dogs plus buffed dogs is a wipe recipe. Dog Day itself is documented on maps.
If you die, you did not “almost” get the badge. The badge is the clear. Queue the event again when it appears rather than pretending a normal survival counts.
Divine Instincts
Divine Instincts is the harsher relative of Death: more dogs, denser pressure, the same family of “everyone is buffed and there are a lot of them.” The badge uses the same name as the event. Surviving it is the requirement. It is rarer in conversation than a normal clear because the density deletes sloppy holds.
Players sometimes notice that heavy lag slows the dogs. That is an observation about a struggling server, not a strategy. Do not rubber-band the lobby, spawn clutter, or use anything on scripts to manufacture lag. You will ruin twelve people’s round, and you still might not get the badge. Play the density: earlier tools, shorter commits, no hero sprints through the middle, and calls that tell the team which side is already lost.
If both Death and Divine Instincts show up in one session, do not treat them as duplicates. Divine Instincts is the one people describe as much harder. The events tier list is the ranking page when you want that comparison in one place. Your own clear or wipe is still the evidence.
A practical standard: if you cannot survive a normal round without pulling extra packs, you are not “due” a Divine Instincts badge. Get 10 Survivals on ordinary ballots first. The ladder is on badges.
KEEP IT CLEAN
KEEP IT CLEAN is a special round with buffed dogs plus a helper that is on fire — a burning dog-side presence, not a friendly revive gadget. The badge of the same name is for surviving that round. People lose it by treating the burning helper like one more body in a normal pack, or by standing in a choke while the buffed horde arrives behind the flames.
What to change:
- Identify the burning helper early and say where it is. “Burning one on the stair” is a complete call.
- Do not block the exit while you stare at it. The rest of the buffed horde is still the wipe.
- Use tools on the pressure you can actually thin. Panic-cycling the hotbar is worse here than on a normal map because the round is already loud.
- Keep Dog Day off the vote if this banner is the plan. You do not need a second difficulty multiplier you chose yourself.
The name is written in caps because that is how players and the badge list refer to it. It is not a cleanliness mini-game and it is not a lobby broom. It is a combat round. Survive it, then go back to farming ordinary coins if your balance is low.
Juggernaut
Juggernaut makes one player the juggernaut. Azure Dot is the badge for winning in that role. Surviving the round as a normal player is a different outcome and does not complete the same hunt. Friends who say “we lived, where is the badge?” were not the juggernaut, or the juggernaut did not win.
The common attempt path is a Fate purchase for Robux, a chance tied to getting the role, plus a small server so fewer people contest it. Community talk puts a try in the tens of Robux. The prompt in your client is the price, not this paragraph. Avoid voting Dog Day while someone is spending those attempts. Extra dogs are the opposite of help.
This page will not invent the juggernaut’s health, damage, or a frame-perfect combo. Follow the round’s own objective text and the dedicated guide: juggernaut. The role blurb is juggernaut player. A video is embedded on that guide, not here, so this article stays a single-topic overview.
If you are not the juggernaut, do not sabotage the attempt for a clip. Co-op still has up to twelve people. Get out of the doorway. Ask what the event is asking you to do, then do that, instead of inventing a player-hunt rule the banner never stated. The everyday role remains survivor unless the event says otherwise.
Hung Up, the lobby phone
Hung Up is the odd one. It is not a horde modifier. A telephone in the lobby rings, and the badge goes to the player who interacts with it before the others. There is no published dogs keymap for that prompt. Use the interact label your Roblox device already shows, the same way controls describes every other lobby prop.
Etiquette is part of the event:
- Do not camp the phone through other people’s rounds if you already have the badge and someone else is asking for a turn. The interact is a race, but a private server or a quiet moment is kinder than body-blocking a new player for sport.
- Do not confuse the phone with a codes keypad. dogs has no widely published promo list. Coins are survivals plus the AZOT 1.2x group perk, explained on codes.
- Do not hit the phone in a panic during a combat round. It is a lobby object. If you are in the horde, you are no longer on the Hung Up task.
How to choose what to queue
You rarely “select Death” like a playlist entry this guide can document as a menu of five buttons. Events show up in the round flow. Your control is preparation and votes.
- Learning the game: skip Dog Day, ignore Fate, play normal ballots, buy one tool.
- Badge night for survivals: stay on clears. Death and the rest can wait until 10 Survivals feels repeatable.
- Against the God’s Will: play when Death is actually the banner, with a tool you trust.
- Divine Instincts: only when normal and Death holds are already real.
- KEEP IT CLEAN: same standard, plus a call for the burning helper.
- Azure Dot: small server, Fate only if you accept the Robux prompt, no Dog Day, and the juggernaut guide open.
- Hung Up: lobby, prompt, be first, then leave the phone alone.
The players hub and guides hub are the shelves for those plans. Patch changes to how an event starts belong on updates. Until a patch says otherwise, trust the banner text over a rumor about a hidden queue.
A banner habit
Before you take three steps, read the top of the round and answer one question: “Is this a normal horde, a buffed horde, a burning-helper round, a juggernaut role, or still the lobby phone?” Five answers, five behaviors. Players who skip the question treat every loss as bad luck. Players who answer it spend tools at the right time and stop expecting Azure Dot from a Death clear. That single question is the event skill. The badges are only the game agreeing that you answered it and then lived, or, in the juggernaut’s case, won in the right role.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for surviving dog hordes in dogs.
What is the Death event in dogs?
Death is a round where the dogs are buffed. Surviving it awards Against the God's Will. It is not a numbered level and it is not the Juggernaut role.
How is Divine Instincts different from Death?
Divine Instincts is the harder, denser version of that buffed horde. The badge requires you to survive it. Do not try to lag the server to slow the dogs.
What happens in KEEP IT CLEAN?
Dogs are buffed and a burning helper dog appears. Survive that special round for the KEEP IT CLEAN badge. Call the burning helper so the team does not ignore the rest of the pack.
Does living through Juggernaut grant Azure Dot?
Only if you were the juggernaut and you won. Other players surviving the event do not complete Azure Dot. Use the juggernaut guide for Fate, server size, and Dog Day.
How do you get Hung Up?
In the lobby, interact with the ringing telephone before other players, using the prompt your device shows. It is not a code entry and not a combat round.
