Working Dog! codes (re-checked October 2026)

Dog! (formerly Ben!) by Retro Horror regularly drops free Coins through the in-game Codes menu. Coins buy cosmetics and traps that help survivors stall Dog or style your lobby look. Codes expire without much warning, so redeem anything listed as active as soon as you join a server.

This hub was re-verified in October 2026 against community reports for the strings below. It tracks codes that players still report as possibly working, codes that are confirmed expired, and the exact redeem steps so you never confuse chat questions with the Codes UI. For role tips after you cash in Coins, jump to the survivor guide or the Dog role guide. Skin unlock paths after Coins land on how to get skins.

Active codes (possibly working)

Treat these as possibly working as of the October 2026 re-check. Developers can disable a code at any time. Each of the codes below historically grants 100 Coins when accepted.

CodeRewardNotes
DANZLUA100 CoinsCommunity-shared promo; try if others fail
100KLIKES100 CoinsMilestone likes code
150KMEMBERS100 CoinsGroup members milestone
200KMEMBERS100 CoinsNewer members milestone

Copy each code exactly (no spaces). Community reports often say Dog! codes behave case-insensitive, but you should still paste the canonical spelling from this table so you do not invent typos. If Submit returns an error, the code is already used on your account or has expired — move on to the next one.

Expired codes

These codes are no longer redeemable. They stay listed so you do not waste time retrying them or following outdated screenshots:

35klikes, FLAMINGO, 25klikes, 75KLIKES, DISTOM, 5klikes, 10klikes, 100kmembers, release, 15klikes, DISCORD0101, 50klikes

Notable skin-hype leftovers: FLAMINGO (historic Cleetus talk) and DISTOM (historic Tompus talk) are dead — see how to get skins for the modern Coins → shop path. If a creator video still shows one of these strings, skip it. Bookmark this Codes Hub and check back after like or member milestones instead.

How to redeem codes

  1. Launch Dog! from the official Roblox experience (place 8583038000).
  2. Wait until you are fully in a lobby or round UI — not stuck on the loading screen.
  3. Open the Codes button on the left side of the screen (control details: controls guide).
  4. Paste one code into the text field.
  5. Press Submit and watch for a success toast or Coins balance change.
  6. Repeat for each active code. Codes are usually one redeem per account.

You do not redeem codes by typing them in chat. Chat is reserved for asking Dog questions and round callouts.

Codes menu vs Ask Dog in chat

Dog! has a signature gimmick: type Dog followed by a question in chat (for example Dog where are you) to interact with the killer role fantasy. That is not a code redeem path. Promo codes only work inside the left-side Codes panel. Ask Dog ≠ codes.

Common mix-ups:

  • Typing DANZLUA in chat does nothing for Coins.
  • Asking Dog give coins is flavor, not a shop grant.
  • The Codes UI is the only supported free-Coin pipeline listed here.

Use chat for teamwork and Dog banter; use Codes for currency. After redeeming, spend Coins on traps and cosmetics covered in the traps tier list, skins tier list, and how to get skins.

What Coins are for

Coins are the soft currency that powers cosmetics and survivor tools. Typical sinks include:

  • Cosmetics / skins — Cleetus, Tompus, and shop rotations (unlock guide: how to get skins).
  • Traps and gadgets — bear traps, utility items, and other stall tools that buy escape time.
  • Round prep — stocking what your squad needs before a chapter starts.

Because the loop is 1 vs All with up to seven players, even a small Coin burst can change a round if you buy a trap that cuts Dog’s chase path. Pair code Coins with the getting started guide so new accounts unlock useful gear before grinding badges.

Badges that pair with code progress

Codes will not grant badges directly, but Coins help you attempt the routes on the badges guide:

  • Be Dog / Dog Wins — killer-side goals.
  • Taze Dog — see how to tase Dog.
  • Escape Dog / chapter completes — survivor clears.
  • Completed The Obby / Camper / Welcome To Dog / secret badge — side and discovery goals.

Track chapter and map context in the chapter walkthrough and maps guide, plus patch history on the updates hub.

Tips to keep codes working for you

  • Redeem on a stable connection. Failed submits on laggy joins sometimes look like dead codes.
  • Paste the hub spelling even if friends say case does not matter.
  • Do not share private account links when asking friends which codes still work — share the code string only.
  • After a big update or rename wave (Ben! to Dog!), expect old blog posts to list expired strings. Trust the active table above over random comments.
  • Combine codes with scripts safety notes only if you accept Roblox ToS risk; codes themselves need no executors.

Where to go next

Keep this page bookmarked. When Retro Horror hits another likes or members milestone, fresh 100-Coin codes usually appear first in the left Codes menu — then here once verified.

Quick redeem checklist

Before you queue a round as survivor or Dog, run this 30-second checklist:

  1. Open Codes on the left.
  2. Redeem every active string you have not used.
  3. Confirm Coins increased.
  4. Buy the trap or cosmetic you planned in the shop.
  5. Ready up with your squad and call roles in chat without pasting codes there.

That habit turns every promo drop into real round power instead of forgotten UI buttons. If Submit fails on all active codes, your account likely already claimed them — focus on gameplay guides instead of hunting phantom strings.

Community creators sometimes overlay code text on thumbnails for chapters or Talking Ben moments. Verify against this hub before trusting a thumbnail. Expired lists above catch most recycled hype. For story and map context while you grind Coins, skim the chapter walkthrough and maps so you know which tools matter on Prison finale layouts versus earlier House and Radio Station spaces.

Codes will never replace gamesense. A full Coin balance with zero map knowledge still loses to a patient Dog. Use free currency as a boost on top of the habits in how to survive and how to play as Dog. When you clear a chapter after redeeming, you get both cosmetic progress and badge progress — the best return on a 100-Coin code.

If you maintain a private alt for testing, redeem codes on your main first. Some milestones are account-bound and will not transfer. Never pay third parties for “private codes”; the active list here is the free path Retro Horror intends. Report working or dead codes to your group chat, then double-check in a fresh server before updating mental notes.

That covers the October 2026 active list, expired noise, redeem UX, Ask Dog confusion, Coin sinks, skins/badge cross-links, and next-step links across the Dog! wiki.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for survivors and players hunting as Dog.

What are the working Dog! codes right now?

As of the October 2026 re-check, possibly working codes include DANZLUA, 100KLIKES, 150KMEMBERS, and 200KMEMBERS (about 100 Coins each). They can expire anytime — redeem in the left Codes menu as soon as you join.

How do I redeem codes in Dog! Roblox?

Open the Codes button on the left side of the screen, paste a code, and press Submit. Do not type codes in chat; chat is for Ask Dog questions and teamwork.

Is asking Dog in chat the same as redeeming a code?

No. Ask Dog is a gameplay chat feature. Promo codes only work inside the Codes menu and grant Coins when valid.

What do Dog! codes give you?

Current milestone codes typically grant 100 Coins. Spend Coins on traps first, then cosmetics via the how to get skins guide and skins tier list.

Why did my code say invalid?

The code may be expired, mistyped, or already redeemed on your account. Check the expired list (including FLAMINGO and DISTOM) and try the remaining active codes exactly as written.
